What is ABA?

ABA is used to increase skills  or decrease challenging behaviors.  An intervention plan is developed by measuring the effects of events and consequences on the target behavior.

  • (A) Antecedent: evaluates what happens before the behavior.

  • (B) Behavior is what we can observe and measure.

  • (C) Consequence is what happens after the behavior,

.
